Lavrov and Tokayev praised the level of preparation for the production of Sputnik V in Kazakhstan

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at a meeting on Thursday in Nur-Sultan praised the process of setting up production of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine in the republic.

 

 

"During the audience with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the process of implementing the main agreements reached by the heads of state and government of the two countries was reviewed. High praise was given to the prompt efforts of the parties to establish joint production of the Sputnik V vaccine on the basis of the Karaganda pharmaceutical complex, effective support at the level of Russian regions and regions of Kazakhstan," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
