The situation in the area of two villages in the Hadrut Province of Karabakh, where there was a ceasefire violation on December 11, has normalized, Lieutenant General Rustam Muradov, the commander of the Russian military contingent of peacekeeping forces in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone, said.
"On December 11, there was a ceasefire violation in the vicinity of the settlements of Htsaberd and Hin Taglar in the Hadrut region, which was stopped by the actions of the Russian peacekeeping contingent. The situation there has now returned to normal. Russian peacekeepers are constantly monitoring the situation and interacting with the representatives of the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides," Muradov said.
