Secretary-General of the World Muslim Communities Council considers it an honor to cooperate with the Group «Russia-Islamic world»

Secretary-General of the World Muslim Communities Council, Mohammed Bechari, congratulated the world's Muslims on the holiday of the end of the Holy month of Ramadan, wishing them health and prosperity. 

 

Earlier, speaking at the international conference «The Muslim world facing the challenges of the pandemic: unity in the conditions of social distance», held on May 20, 2020, he also addressed greetings to Russian Muslims. In his speech, Bechari noted: «It is a great honor for us to cooperate with the Group of strategic vision Russia-Islamic world, especially now that Russia is marking the fifteenth anniversary of joining the Organization of the Islamic Conference. »


He also expressed the hope that this anniversary activates a new stage of cooperation of the Group of strategic vision, the Religious Board of Muslims of Russia and other religious associations of Russia with the World Council of Muslim Communities and «demonstrate that Russia has always supported Arab rights and the rights of Muslims and was always in the consistent, fair policy towards the Islamic world» and that it «guarantees Muslims the right to conduct their religious practices in par with other faiths».


Muhammad Bechari, for many years heading the French National Federation of Muslims and the Islamic European conference, is an active participant in the events held by the GSV «Russia-Islamic world». He also supports all the Group's initiatives aimed at bringing Russia closer to the countries of the Islamic world.
