Leaders of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member states are set to adopt a final declaration and a statement commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War at the summit in Astana on November 28. This was announced by Yuri Ushakov, Assistant to the President of Russia.
According to Ushakov, the documents prepared for signing include a final declaration reflecting the member states' unified stance on key international and regional issues.
“In recognition of the paramount importance of preserving the memory of the heroic deeds of the peoples of CSTO countries during the Great Patriotic War, the leaders are also expected to sign a joint statement marking the 80th anniversary of Victory, as well as a plan of events to celebrate this milestone,” Ushakov added.
