Abdulla Al Saleh, Under Secretary of the Foreign Trade and Industry at the UAE Ministry of Economy, noted during the plenary session of the international economic forum "Russia - Islamic World" that KazanSummit attracts more and more participants from around the world year after year. "It is very happy to see Tatarstan's initiative serving as a bridge between Russia and the Islamic world!"
"In 2018, an agreement on comprehensive cooperation between our countries was signed. During this time, the turnover amounted to 4.5 billion dollars. This is a good indicator of how well relations between Russia and the UAE are developing," he said.
"The halal sector is very attractive. Non-Muslim countries also allocate a significant part of their capital for investment in halal. Halal is an opportunity to attract more consumers. Global companies understand that halal is a trend. There is benefit and growth in these markets. That's why we're here. Halal industry builds bridges between countries," stressed Al Saleh.
