The Group of Strategic Vision "Russia – Islamic World" headed by the Chairman, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov will hold the V anniversary forum of journalists from Muslim countries in St. Petersburg on September 26 - 27.
The main topics of discussion of the annual international forum are devoted to such topical issues as the importance of journalists in promoting the ideas of peaceful coexistence of different religious groups; the influence of the media on public opinion and the formation of the international agenda; the ability of the state to resist the spread of fake news and false information together with journalists.
More than 40 foreign journalists from Muslim countries will attend the event.
