Albania introduced visa-free entry for Russians until the end of 2021

The government of Albania announced the abolition of visas for Russian citizens to enter the country. The Russian embassy in Albania announced this on its Facebook page on Friday.


"In accordance with the decision of the Council of Ministers of Albania No. 214 dated March 25, 2021,  a visa-free regime for citizens of several states was introduced, including Russia, for the period from April 1 to December 31, 2021," the Russian diplomatic mission said in a statement.

 

"The allowed period of stay in the country is 90 days out of every 180 days from the date of entry," the embassy added.


Previously, Russian citizens had the opportunity not to apply for a visa for tourist trips to Albania from June to November 2020. At the moment, all bans on have been lifted in the country, it is allowed to enter and leave the country by air, land and sea border control points.
