Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev held discussions regarding the situation in Karabakh and matters related to the unblocking of roads with Igor Khovayev, the Special Representative of the Russian Foreign Minister for Facilitating the Normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani Relations. This information was reported on the official website of the Azerbaijani president.
"The meeting covered the regional situation and the opening of the Aghdam-Khankendi and Lachin-Khankendi roads," the report stated.
Aliyev highlighted that they had extended invitations to representatives of the Armenian population in Karabakh to visit Baku and other Azerbaijani cities for discussions on reintegration, but they declined the invitation.
