Cavusoglu to visit Egypt as part of policy to normalize bilateral relations

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu will pay his first visit to Egypt in 10 years on Saturday, March 18, as part of a policy of normalizing bilateral relations, the Turkish foreign ministry said on Friday.

"Our minister will pay an official visit to Egypt on March 18 at the invitation of Egypt's Foreign Minister [Sameh Shoukry]. The upcoming talks are planned to address bilateral relations in their entirety, as well as to exchange views on regional and international issues," the statement reads.
