Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia receives Russian President's Special Representative for Syria

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud held a meeting in Riyadh with Alexander Lavrentiev, the Russian President's Special Representative for the Syrian Settlement, the Saudi press agency reported on Thursday.


As specified, the two sides discussed various aspects of bilateral relations between Riyadh and Moscow, as well as the latest developments in Syria.


Minister of State and National Security Advisor Musaid bin Mohammed al-Aiban and the Head of the Kingdom's Foreign Intelligence Service Khalid bin Ali Al Humaidan took part in the consultations on the Saudi side. Alexander Kinshchak, Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, was also present on the Russian side.
