Ex-President of Sudan al-Bashir has been sent to the prison

Ex-President of Sudan Omar Al-Bashir, who was removed from the power as a result of a military coup, was transferred to Kober prison, which located in Khartoum. According to Sudanese media, the arrest warrant was also issued against 11 other high-ranking officials and associates of the former head of state.

 

 

It is known that the military coup has occurred in Sudan on April 11th. As a result, the President, the Government and the Parliament were dismissed. For two years, the country will be governed by a Transitional Military Council, which, after this time, undertook to transfer power to the civilian leadership.

 

 

The Representatives of the Military Council said that Omar Al-Bashir will face justice.
