Today in the Bulgarian Islamic Academy within the framework of the I International Forum "Theological heritage of Muslims of Russia" the III Marjani Readings “Quest for theological solutions in the era of globalization” starts its work.
According to the press service of the BIA, Rector of the Academy Daniyar Abdrakhmanov noted that "combining the efforts of the intellectual elite of Russian Muslims will create a collegial advisory body capable of solving various scientific and theological issues, and the resolution adopted at the end of the Forum will help to outline guidelines for further work".
It is planned that during two days religious figures, Islamic scholars, theologians, historians, as well as the representatives of the scientific and educational organizations from Tatarstan and other regions of Russia will discuss such topics as the implementation of Muslims constitutional rights in a secular state, the preservation and strengthening of the family, education of young people in the framework of preserving religious and cultural values, the implementation of Sharia in modern conditions, etc.
