During the plenary session of the Group of Strategic Vision “Russia – Islamic World” on the theme “The Experience of Russia and the Islamic World in Youth Policy: Common Challenges and Joint Actions”, it was announced that Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Aldhaheri, Rector of the Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities (UAE), has become a member of the Group. As an honored guest of KazanForum – 2025, Dr. Aldhaheri addressed the plenary participants.
“The relationship between the UAE and the Russian Federation is based on mutual respect and cooperation, which accelerates both economic and political development and serves as a model for international engagement,” stated Dr. Aldhaheri.
“Youth are the builders of the future. The UAE’s strategy focuses on educating and involving young people in development processes to counter ideological and economic challenges,” the rector emphasized. To this end, the Emirates host international youth events to promote dialogue and combat extremism.
Dr. Aldhaheri expressed hope that this forum will mark a new stage in educational and volunteer cooperation between the UAE and Russia.
