Lavrov to Hold Talks with Indonesian Foreign Minister on June 17

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will meet with his Indonesian counterpart, Minister Sugianto, on June 17 in Moscow for talks focused on high-level contacts and security cooperation. The announcement was made by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova during a briefing.

 

"On June 17, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia will visit Moscow. During the talks with his Russian counterpart, the two sides will exchange views on a wide range of bilateral issues, including the expansion of political contacts—particularly at the highest levels—as well as cooperation in the areas of security, trade and economy, and humanitarian affairs," said Zakharova.

 

She added that the discussions will also cover broader topics, such as enhancing the legal framework governing Russia-Indonesia relations. "Key international and regional issues are also expected to be on the agenda," she noted.
