Leader of “Movement of the First” Organization: We Are Interested in Joint Programs for the Future of Children Around the World

16 May

Artur Orlov, head of the “Movement of the First” organization, spoke at the plenary session of the Group of Strategic Vision  “Russia – Islamic World” on the topic “The Experience of Russia and the Islamic World in Youth Policy: Common Challenges and Joint Actions.”

“Today, the work of the ‘Movement of the First’ plays a vital role in shaping the future of Russia’s youth, its national interests, and traditional values. The foundation for this begins in childhood,” Orlov stated.

Established in 2022 at the intersection of civil and state initiatives, the movement aims to preserve Russia’s identity, traditions, and national unity. “Russia is uniting to safeguard its cultural heritage,” Orlov emphasized.

The organization promotes historical awareness and combats historical distortion. Its project “Guardians of History” has already protected 15 monuments dedicated to the Great Patriotic War.

Orlov expressed readiness for intercultural dialogue: “Recognizing the value of preserving national culture, we are eager to create joint programs for the future of children in different countries.”

He also announced that on June 1, Moscow will host the movement’s festival, bringing together thousands of participants from 30 countries. A declaration will be signed to establish the International Association of Children’s Organizations.

“Children’s projects based on friendship and shared values lay the groundwork for a just and peaceful world,” Orlov concluded.
