Media: the number of victims of flooding in Afghanistan has increased to 70

At least 70 people were killed in heavy flooding in Parwan province in Eastern Afghanistan, and 110 people were injured, TOLOnews TV channel reports with reference to the head of the local hospital.


Earlier, the TV channel, citing the head of the local Ministry of Health, reported 45 dead and 80 injured. According to him, most of the victims were women and children.


As told in the presidential administration, local authorities are not coping with the situation. For this reason, the government services were instructed to provide assistance to the province in coordination with the relevant Ministry.
