Mishustin: Tajikistan Is a Key Ally of Russia in Central Asia

25 April

Tajikistan remains a vital ally and strategic partner for Russia in Central Asia, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin stated during talks with his Tajik counterpart, Kokhir Rasulzoda.

“Tajikistan is an important ally and strategic partner of Russia in Central Asia. Our relationship is built on a foundation of historical friendship and mutual respect between our brotherly nations,” Mishustin said.

He also recalled the key agreements reached during the visit of  President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to Russia in March, which laid the groundwork for further strengthening bilateral cooperation. “It is now the responsibility of our governments to ensure the full and timely implementation of the decisions made at the highest level,” he emphasized.
