Taha Ayhan, President of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF), spoke at the plenary session of the Group of Strategic Vision  “Russia – Islamic World” on the topic “The Experience of Russia and the Islamic World in Youth Policy: Common Challenges and Joint Actions.”

“Young people play a vital role in shaping the future of peacebuilding. As previously noted, the ICYF serves as a platform for fostering global dialogue. Our partnership with Rosmolodezh (the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs of Russia) strengthens our resolve to engage in international initiatives,” Ayhan stated.

He highlighted the success of the Kazan Global Youth Summit, describing it as a project that empowers youth to contribute to global discussions. Ayhan also emphasized the importance of vocational education as a key pillar of youth policy.

“The experiences of Tatarstan, Turkey, and Malaysia are truly inspiring. Through the ICYF, we work to share these best practices, including with countries like Afghanistan,” he said. “We must not forget the youth in conflict zones such as Palestine.”
