The Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim, an honorary guest of KazanForum – 2025, addressed the plenary session of the Group of Strategic Vision “Russia – Islamic World”. The session was devoted to the topic “The Experience of Russia and Islamic Countries in Youth Policy: Common Challenges and Joint Actions.”
“Today, in the era of technology and artificial intelligence, we in Malaysia are placing special emphasis on moral values and spiritual foundations, which must remain central to youth development,” said Mr. Ibrahim.
The Prime Minister also recalled the words of Russian President Vladimir Putin during their recent personal meeting: “Malaysia provides important support for Tatarstan’s efforts to promote dialogue and sustainable relations.”
“I commend the work of the Group and urge for more active involvement of youth in decision-making processes. I am confident that we will soon hear their constructive proposals,” he stated. Mr. Ibrahim also noted that the forum’s discussions have sparked engagement among Malaysian Muslim scholars.
