Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at the CSTO summit, reiterated that Moscow has consistently warned that the use of Western-supplied long-range weaponry on Russian territory constitutes direct NATO involvement in the conflict.
“Such weapons cannot be deployed without the direct involvement of NATO military specialists,” Putin emphasized. Despite these warnings, he noted, strikes on Russian territory have been carried out. “This occurred in defiance of our cautions about the risks of escalating the conflict,” he stated.
