Saudi Arabia could become a logistics hub for supplies of the Sputnik V vaccine and its combination with AstraZeneca to the Middle East and North Africa, said Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund.
"We are discussing the distribution of Sputnik V in Saudi Arabia. It could become a very important logistical hub for the Middle East and North Africa region for both Sputnik V and its combination with AstraZeneca," Dmitriev said at a briefing with reporters.
He also noted that he hopes to announce a memorandum of intent with the Saudi Arabian partners in the near future.
