Russia, Iran and China signed memorandums of understanding in the field of Maritime defense

Iran signed memorandums of understanding with Russia and China in the field of Maritime defense.


Al Jazeera reports with reference to the statement of the Commander of the Navy of the Iranian army, Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi.


At the same time, the Rear Admiral, as noted, stressed that "there is no need for the presence of foreign forces in the region, and Iran is ready to cooperate in this matter with neighboring states".


Today, the joint Iranian-Russian-Chinese drills in the Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Oman are being completed. The tripartite drills are known as the ‘Marine Security Belt'.
