The fifth meeting of the Russia-Qatar Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, and Technical Cooperation is scheduled to take place in March 2025 in Doha, according to Mikhail Bogdanov, Russian Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister.
“In March 2025, we plan to hold the fifth session of the joint Russia-Qatar commission on trade, economic, and technical cooperation in Doha. It will be co-chaired by Russia’s First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov and Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani,” Bogdanov told Izvestia. “We are actively collaborating with our Qatari partners to expand the legal and regulatory framework, with many promising projects and joint initiatives ahead.”
Bogdanov highlighted the high-quality nature of Russia-Qatar relations, marked by a trusting political dialogue at the highest levels. “There is also regular communication between the heads of foreign affairs departments,” he noted.
