Russian MFA: there is a threat of the collapse of the Iranian nuclear deal

06 December 2019

Iran's actions to reduce the scope of obligations under the nuclear deal and the inaction of the parties to the document may eventually lead to the collapse of the document, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told reporters.

"The problems are not solved, they are accumulated, and as a result we may find ourselves in a situation where not Iran's actions to reduce its obligations, but the inaction of the JCPOA participants in terms of ensuring the viability of this agreement will become irreversible," RIA Novosti quoted Deputy Foreign Minister as saying.

"There is no exaggeration, our concern about what is happening is very serious," the diplomat said.
