The People's Council of Turkmenistan approved amendments to the Constitution of the country, according to which the Parliament of the Republic becomes bicameral, the TDH state news agency of Turkmenistan reports on Friday.
According to him, the meeting on Friday considered the draft law "On amendments and additions to the Constitution of Turkmenistan", which was introduced by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. It is reported that the participants of the meeting, which was held in a video format, supported the initiatives put forward, after which the President signed the documents.
