The UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres held online-talks with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The UN Secretary-General's official representative, Stephane Dujarric, said on Monday that the head of the organization called for an immediate ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh.
"The Secretary-General spoke with President Aliyev and Prime Minister Pashinyan," he informed. "In these two conversations, he conveyed the same message: a call for an immediate cessation of hostilities, de - escalation of tensions, and a return to negotiations without preconditions in the context of the efforts of the OSCE Minsk group co-chairs."
