In other words, this drug is effective today and continues to work," noted Murashko, adding that the vaccine also has a high safety profile.

The Sputnik V vaccine was registered in Russia one year ago, on August 11, 2020, becoming the first officially registered drug of this type in the world. At the end of 2020, exports of Sputnik V began, and it has now been approved in 69 countries and territories with a total population of more than 3.7 billion people.
