In Krasnoyarsk, officers of the Federal security service identified two recruiters for the terrorist organization Katiba Tawhid wal-Jihad* and detained them.

The press service of the regional FSB directorate states that "two citizens of one of the republics of the Central Asian region arrived in the regional capital to work for dissemination of the terrorist ideology".

Criminal charges were brought against the recruiters. They have been taken into custody.

In August the FSB detained 31 members of Katiba Tawhid wal-Jihad* - both ordinary members and cell leaders. The special operation was conducted in Moscow, Yakutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Kansk and the Novosibirsk oblast.

Over the past two years the security services prevented about 80 terrorist attacks. Most often they are planned by Islamists, and the geography affects the European part of Russia.
