Patrushev: Russia is ready to Share Coronavirus Vaccines with all Willing Countries

08 April 2021

Russia is ready to provide coronavirus vaccines to all willing countries regardless of their political course or place on the world stage. Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev said in an interview with the Kommersant newspaper published on Wednesday.

“It is already within our powers to stop the spread of the virus across the planet and save not thousands but millions of lives. This includes thanks to vaccines developed by Russian scientists. Of course, vaccination of our population comes first, but we have an increasing capacity and willingness to share them with all willing countries regardless of their political course or place on the world stage”, he said.

Patrushev noted that Russia “has never been engaged in political games at the expense of human lives and health” and has always considered “humanity as the single global community that cannot be divided by nationality, race or religion beliefs”. He added that all lives matter to Russia. “Our vaccines are further proof of this”, the Russian Security Council Secretary concluded.
