Coronavirus vaccines
The Qatari authorities appreciate Russia's role in the production and distribution of coronavirus vaccines, the emir of Qatar said.
"The pandemic has shown the interdependence of the world's nations, confirming that no single nation can face epidemics alone. <...> The global community must ensure that vaccines and treatment are available to all, especially the poor and people in need and countries suffering from war and instability. Health should not be allowed to be determined by the laws of the market and world trade. And in this regard, I appreciate Russia's role in the production and distribution of vaccines," Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani noted.
"On the other hand, developing the economy and investment, encouraging innovation and production while reinforcing human values is an effective way to build the necessary capacity to fight epidemics and other international problems <...>. It is also the only way to return people to the normal lives they have been deprived of by the pandemic," the emir pointed out.
