No complaints from Russian citizens regarding the Russian Mir payment system cards have been received in Turkey, the Russian consulate general in Antalya and in Istanbul told TASS on Monday.

"We have not received any complaints on this issue," the diplomatic mission in Antalya said. Diplomats in Istanbul stressed that there have been "no complaints in connection with possible problems with the Mir cards lately."

Earlier, the media reported about the problems with Mir cards in Turkish hotels, and some hotels reported that the cards of the Russian payment system, issued by Russian sanctioned banks, will no longer be accepted in Turkey.

The National Payment Card System (NSPK) reported that there were some cases of failed transactions, but its [NSPK] work in Turkey continues as usual. At the same time, NSPK is analyzing the situation and has contacted all Turkish partners.
