The OPEC+ ministerial conference ended  and the participants of the alliance approved an increase in oil production by 100 thousand barrels per day (bpd) in September, a source in one of the delegations told TASS. This information was also confirmed in the final communiqué published on the OPEC website.

The OPEC document confirms that the alliance countries have agreed to increase production levels in September cumulatively by 100 thousand bpd. TASS source said that the ministers of OPEC+ countries did not discuss other options on production volumes for September.

The final communiqué stresses that the free oil production capacity in the world is seriously limited, it is necessary to use it carefully.

According to production schedule for September, Russia and Saudi Arabia will be able to raise oil production by 26 thousand bpd each, to 11.03 million bpd.

The next OPEC+ meeting will be held on September 5.
