Russia and Turkey signed a program to ensure the safety of tourists

Russia and Turkey signed a program of joint actions for 2022-2024 in Ankara on Tuesday, which aims to provide conditions for safe and comfortable travels in the two countries. According to a TASS reporter, the document was signed by the head of Rostourism Zarina Doguzova and Turkish minister of culture and tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy.


The program was signed for the "development of economic relations and restoration of tourism industry of the two countries", "increase of mutual tourist flow" and "creation of safe and comfortable travel conditions in two countries".


It is assumed that "the parties will promptly inform each other about emergencies in their countries that threaten the life and health of tourists of both countries (epidemiological, terrorist, transport and other threats)", "to inform each other about incidents involving citizens of both countries, staying in the territory of the other party for tourism purpose".
