Russians book hotels abroad in Minsk, Istanbul and Gagra for autumn more often, the average price for a night in a hotel outside of Russia is 5.5 thousand rubles, according to the research of "Tutu Hotel" service, TASS reports.
"Minsk, Istanbul and Gagra are the most popular foreign destinations. The average price per night is 5533 rubles. More than 70% of bookings are for 3-4-star hotels. The most popular type of accommodation for travelers abroad is hotels: more than 85% of all bookings", the experts told.
In Russia, the service customers often book hotels for autumn in St. Petersburg, Sochi, Moscow, Kaliningrad, Kazan, Anapa, Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnodar, Makhachkala and Vladivostok. The average price for a night in a Russian hotel is 3.1 thousand rubles, and the average booking duration is 2-3 nights. At the same time, the highest accommodation cost in autumn is registered in Vladivostok hotels - on average 4.5 thousand rubles per night per person, the lowest - in Krasnodar hotels (2.1 thousand rubles).
About 36% of all bookings of the "Tutu hotels" service are 3-star hotels, 11% - 4-star, 10% - 2-star, less than 1% - 5-star and 1-star hotels. Almost 40% of demand is for accommodation facilities with no stars, the company noted.
