Softline acquires leading ICT system integrator from UAE

Softline has signed an agreement to acquire Seven Seas Technology, a leading information and communications technology (ICT) systems integrator in the UAE. The deal significantly strengthens Softline's presence in the Middle East and Africa, the company's press office said.


"Softline, a global provider of digital transformation and information security solutions and services, announces that it has signed an agreement to acquire Seven Seas Technology (SST), based in the UAE," the press office said.


Thanks to the deal, companies in the MEA region will now have access to Softline's solutions and services, as well as the expertise of its global team. This includes the global partnerships that Softline has with several cloud service providers, including Microsoft, Softline's press office clarified.


"This deal will significantly expand Softline's operations in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region and continues a series of mergers and acquisitions as part of a three-dimensional growth strategy," the press office said.


Seven Seas Technology (SST) was founded in 1983 and is a leading information and communications technology systems integrator and solution provider in the UAE. In partnership with major technology vendors such as Microsoft, the company provides medium and large enterprises with cloud collaboration solutions. SST has 15 Gold-level competencies from Microsoft, as well as several advanced statuses: Platinum Cloud Solutions Provider from HPE, Cisco Gold Integrator and others, the press service explained.
