Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump and King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. One of the main topics of the talks, according to the Kremlin's press service, was the new OPEC + deal.
The leaders confirmed the agreement reached within OPEC+ and noted its importance.
According to Kremlin representatives, in a separate conversation the Presidents of Russia and the United States, in addition to the OPEC + deal, discussed topical issues of ensuring strategic security.
Under the new deal, OPEC+ participants will have to reduce oil production by 9.7 million barrels per day.
