Russian President Vladimir Putin suggested that Americans consider what would happen if Russia put its missiles on the US border with Canada or Mexico.
"We have clearly and distinctly made it clear that further NATO movement to the east is unacceptable. Well, what's not to understand here? Are we putting missiles next to US borders? No. It is the USA that has come to our house with its rockets. They are already on our doorstep. Is it some kind of redundant requirement not to put any strike systems near our home? What's so unusual about that?" the president asked at his big press conference, speaking to a British journalist.
