16 February 2023

Air Arabia launches regular flights from Kazan to Abu Dhabi on February 16. Flights will take place twice a week, the press service of Kazan International Airport said on Thursday.

"On February 16, the largest Middle East and North Africa low-cost carrier Air Arabia and Kazan International Airport named after Gabdulla Tukai solemnly opened the first direct regular flight to Abu Dhabi. The flights will operate on Mondays and Thursdays", the report says.

The duration of the flight is five hours.

Commercial Director of Kazan airport Andrei Lopatin noted that the load of the first flight is 80%, which is a good indicator for the beginning of the flight program. "We are sure that this flight will be in great demand among both tourists and business representatives. Thus, the airport together with the airlines continues to develop strategically important directions in the Middle East for the Republic of Tatarstan", the press service quotes the words of Lopatin.

It is noted that Air Arabia has been a partner of Kazan International Airport for more than 10 years. The carrier also flies to Sharjah on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
