The Red Wings airline plans to resume regular passenger flights between Astana and Ufa starting from July 25, the press-service of the Ministry of industry and infrastructural development of Kazakhstan reported.
" As part of the work to expand the flight geography and increase the number of international flights, the committee of the civil aviation of the ministry of industry and infrastructure development has worked out the issue of expanding air links between Kazakhstan and Bashkortostan. Thus, the Red Wings airline renews regular passenger flights between Astana and Ufa, starting from July 25, 2023," the report says.
The flights will be operated two times a week on Tuesdays and Fridays by Sukhoi Superjet aircraft.
"The resumption of air links will contribute to the further development of trade, economic, business, tourist and cultural cooperation between the countries," the agency said.
The airline already operated flights on this route, but they were terminated due to the coronavirus pandemic.
