24 June 2019

Iran does not intend to begin negotiations with the United States until the US administration cancels all sanctions. Hesamodin Ashna, adviser to the president of the country Hassan Rouhani, wrote about it in his Twitter.

According to him, Iran "does not want war, but does not accept sanctions."

“Proposals from the United States on readiness for negotiations in conditions where threats and sanctions persist cannot be accepted”, - Rouhani’s adviser said .

Earlier today, it was declared that the US is imposing additional sanctions against Iran.

A new round of tension in Tehran and Washington emerged after US President Donald Trump announced on May 8, 2018 Washington’s withdrawal from the Iranian nuclear deal and the restoration of all sanctions against the Islamic Republic before signing the document.
