In the published report of US Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller, there is no evidence of Russia's involvement in interfering in the US elections. The Director of the North American Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Georgy Borisenko has announced in an interview with RIA Novosti.
“There is nothing in it that would attract attention, it actually confirms the absence of any argument that Russia allegedly interfered in the American elections. There is no the single proof. The authors of the report actually have signed that they have no such evidence”, the agency quotes the diplomat.
It is known, that the day before Mueller's report was published. The US Special Prosecutor has claimed that Russia interfered in the US Presidential election in 2016, but did not have any arrangement with the Presidential team of then candidate Donald Trump.
