Organization of Islamic Cooperation has blamed the attacks in Sri Lanka

Muslim leaders keep on to speak out blaming the series of attacks in Sri Lanka where, according to the latest data, the number of deaths reached 310 people.

 

 

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation , which unites 57 Muslim states and is based in Saudi Jeddah, mentioned the attacks in Sri Lanka "cowardly attacks" against innocent parishioners of churches and civilians, and also expressed condolences to all those affected by the attacks.

 

 


As is well known that in Sri Lanka the bombings have resounded on April 21st.

 

 

In addition, the police were able to detect and neutralize an improvised explosive device, which was laid near the Bandaranaike International Airport.

 

 

The extremist group Jamaat al-Tawhid al-Watania, which banned in Russia, took the responsibility for a series of terrorist attacks.

 

 

30 people were arrested as part of the investigation.
