Putin instructed to help restore historical mosque building in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to report by March 1 on assistance in the restoration of the historical building complex of the mosque and madrassah in the center of Moscow.


The corresponding list of instructions following a meeting with representatives of religious associations was published on the Kremlin website.

 

 

"The Government of the Russian Federation together with the Moscow government should assist the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation in restoring the historical appearance of the complex of buildings of the Muslim mosque and madrassah (Moscow, Bolshaya Tatarskaya Street, 28, buildings 1 and 2)," the message reads.


The corresponding report should be prepared until March 1, 2021, the responsible executors - Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin and Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin.
