Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov held a meeting with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Moscow, Mohammed Ahmed Al Jaber, to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments, including the situations in Sudan and Syria, as well as the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The meeting was initiated at the request of the Emirati diplomat, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
“The two sides reviewed the further development of the traditionally friendly Russia-UAE relations, which are characterized by a strategic partnership. They also conducted an in-depth exchange of views on current regional and international issues, with particular focus on the evolving situation in the zone of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, as well as the situations in Syria and Sudan,” the ministry’s statement read.
