Tatneft's IFRS net profit in 2021 rose to 198.41 billion rubles

Tatneft's net profit under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) attributable to shareholders of the group increased by 92% compared to the figure for the same period in 2020 and amounted to 198.41 billion rubles. It follows from the company's report.


Tatneft's revenues for the reporting period increased by 59%, to 1.265 trillion rubles. The after-tax profit amounted to 257.31 billion rubles, which was 88% higher than the year before.


The company's operating profit rose by 86%, to 256.8 billion rubles.


Tatneft is among the top ten largest Russian companies in terms of oil production. The major shareholder of Tatneft is the Republic of Tatarstan, which owns more than 34% of the company's ordinary shares. Approximately 3% are treasury shares and 23% are ADRs. Other shareholders own 40% of shares.
