Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to Kyrgyzstan on November 25-27, according to Sagynbek Abdumutalip, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Kyrgyz President's Administration.
"The visit, taking place at the invitation of President Sadyr Japarov, represents a significant milestone in developing the strategic partnership and allied relations between our countries," Abdumutalip told journalists in Bishkek. He noted the agenda includes high-level negotiations covering key bilateral cooperation issues and interaction within the EAEU, CIS, SCO, and CSTO frameworks.
The official emphasized that talks will particularly focus on strengthening trade and economic ties, expanding investment and industrial cooperation, developing military-technical and cultural-humanitarian collaboration, and addressing regional security matters.
"The visit is expected to conclude with the signing of a joint statement by the heads of state and several bilateral documents aimed at deepening cooperation in trade, economic, financial, and other spheres. President Putin's upcoming state visit will mark an important stage in further strengthening Kyrgyz-Russian relations based on principles of friendship, trust, and mutual support," Abdumutalip stated.
The visit coincides with the CSTO summit scheduled for November 27 in Bishkek.
