The next meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will be held in Kazan in June 2026, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The ministry also reported that on November 27, Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin participated in the joint session of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers, Council of Defense Ministers, and the Committee of Security Council Secretaries in Bishkek, chaired by Kyrgyzstan.
The meeting featured a constructive and substantive exchange on current international and regional issues. Participants thoroughly discussed the security situation within the CSTO's area of responsibility and adjacent regions, emphasizing their commitment to further enhancing the Organization's capabilities.
With Russia assuming the CSTO chairmanship on January 1, 2026, Pankin briefed participants on the key priorities of the Russian presidency.
