Tatarstan plans to open a trade house in Turkmenistan, announced Oleg Korobchenko, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan.
"During bilateral talks, our representative from the Tatarstan Trade House expressed the decision to open a trade house here to increase our trade turnover," he stated at the 10th meeting of the joint Turkmenistan-Tatarstanstan working group on trade, economic, scientific, technical, and cultural cooperation, held Friday in Ashgabat.
Korobchenko noted that trade between Turkmenistan and Tatarstan reached approximately $35 million in 2024, with expectations to increase this figure to $50 million this year.
