Kazakhstan's Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva has announced the Days of Russian Culture expected to be held in Kazakhstan in 2026.
"I hope that Russian people, Russian art lovers will truly be moved, and this will provide an impetus for such exhibitions and events to be in greater and greater demand," Balayeva stated during a meeting of the Russian-Kazakh subcommission on cultural and humanitarian cooperation. "And, of course, we have discussed 2026. I am now working with the understanding that 2026 will be the year of Russian culture in Kazakhstan."
Balayeva also expressed her gratitude to Russian Culture Minister Olga Lyubimova for organizing the recent Days of Kazakh Culture in Russia.
According to the minister, the relevant agencies of both countries are cooperating effectively, a collaboration that contributes to the strengthening of cultural and humanitarian ties between Kazakhstan and Russia.
