Moscow Days Launch in Oman

11 November

Muscat will host Moscow Days from November 11 to 13, organized by the Moscow Department of External Economic and International Relations.

The program will feature both cultural and business events designed to strengthen partnership and promote the Russian capital's international initiatives, according to the Moscow Center for International Cooperation. Cultural activities will highlight both Moscow's rich heritage and contemporary diversity.

On November 12, People's Artist of Russia Dmitry Malikov will present his "PianomaniЯ" show — a synthesis of classical music, original compositions, and modern visual effects. Another highlight will be a performance by Emmy Award-winning composer and virtuoso violinist Edvin Marton, known for his works featured on major international stages.

The business program culminates on November 13 with the Russia-Oman Business Forum, marking the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Organized by the Roscongress Foundation with departmental support, the forum will feature a Moscow delegation led by Department Head Sergei Cheremin.

Cheremin will participate in a panel discussion on unlocking trade and investment potential between Russia and Oman, addressing Muscat's favourable investment climate, tourism and humanitarian exchanges, joint projects, and interregional cooperation. He will also moderate a business dialogue on digital city transformation and technological partnership, focusing on smart infrastructure and sustainable urban development innovations.

The forum will include business matchmaking sessions and specialized B2B, B2G, and G2G meetings aimed at developing cooperation between Russian and Omani companies. Participants will also visit industrial sites showcasing opportunities for Russo-Omani trade and investment collaboration.
